hiyas people ltns

wondered if anyone had come across the s/80 c/60 dashboard problems with them totally dying

guess what mine has .... and ovlov want a grand to fix it

they say a new dash

however I have read on some other forums about changing the voltage regulator on the dash


and possibly resoldering the chips

anyone done this ?

I haven't read thread, but have heard about problem

You need to search for DIM (drivers information Module) offfical name for clocks etc

Not a rare problem sadly.
I have had repairs done on a V70 and S60 if you dont have the patience yourself then www.BBAReman.com or www.ECUtesting.com ECU did a fast job on my last one and gave a good warranty.

On the plus side I just brought a MY 2000 P2 V70 T5 with low miles and full history for well under a grand the repairs (Dim & ABS module) cost £270 plus 2 hrs of my time. The old owner was scared off by the insane quotes £££ from the main stealer.

i have not read owt about this but hows the old hil billy gimp going anyway lol:bud:
