my mate has just got a 96 850 t5 and wants to no the best way to up grade the turbo inlet ,and can you get a lightend and blanced fly wheel cheers

not sure about the inlet apart from port and polishin it a bit , and the flywheel any enginerring place should be able to skim ab lighten it for you m8. i had a lighted and balenced flywheel on a rs2000 mk5 and it use to embarise al this 4x4 jap stuff like lol

What do you mean by inlet? The maf to turbo pipe or the inlet manifold? You can change the maf pipe for a larger item made by 90 degree silicone bends and 70mm pipe. A 60-70mm 90 is needed and a 70mm-70mm 90 aswell with some 70mm pipe to join them. You will need a silicone quick tap to use the BCV pipe to maf and you will also need to either run the PTC in somehow or vent to a catch can and leave it out but plugged in electrically. On the inlet manifold you can replace the TB for a machined T5 item with a 60mm butterfly or one from another model engine such as a NA item or 960 NA item as they are bigger.

i have been told about na cams but not na throttle bodie like m8 are they much bigger

young lad called moony or something , a raced a black the other week and bust a water hose at about a 1er like , and done the head gasket in aswell so am hopen to get it put back togeather tomo like and might be at the retail park on sunday nite
