Hi thre..

I had a play with my actuator rod a few weeks back..

I undo the tightening nut, pulled pin and then gave the end a twist to shorten the rod 3/4 times..

Never noticed anything..
Gave it 2 more twists, still nothing at the time..

Now it seems that the boost gauge at all times is sitting just behind where it used to sit... USED to sit dead on 1/4 when on idle and dead on 3/4 on peak boost.. Now, I've adjusted the rod back to where it originally was and it still hasn't changed!

WHY???
Could I have done anything by having the actual rod twist round a bit when intially undoing the tightening nut?

Can anyone give me a rough idea of how many threads I should be able to see on the rod?

not sure what you mean by 1/4 and 3/4, the position on the guage?

but I don't believe it should make any difference to the guage reading, just spools up a little faster as its releasing less boost at low levels. dodgy gauge?
