middle muffler

hi all,

sorry if ive started a new thread for no reason but due to many companies being out of stock of the jetex cat-back exhaust.
and being quoted £300 for a custom catback,

i was thinking..........

ive had a look under my car and there is no back box like other cars have, all it has is the cat then the muffler then the tail pipe.
is there a way of asking a company (or if someone knows were i can buy one) to make a custom middle muffler for my volvo 850 2.5?

im jus looking for a volvo straight through middle box thing, not too loud but just more roary?
any ideas.

Powerflow should be able to replace the middle box (suitcase) for a more performance item, don't forget NA's rely on a bit of back pressure tho unlike turbo's in which it just restrict the engine

It is very possible for the above and some places that do metal welding will actually do the same thing but at a big saving on powerflow and topgear. just shop around and ask people!!

i will be phoning up my local powerflow dealer tomorrow to get a price im only thinking it sould be a £100 for a custom middle box??

but ill also phone up some car welding specialists!

yeh it shouldn't be too dear just to replace the backbox. As Powerflow are a franchise the standard of work does vary between the different branchs, so best to have a look at some of the work there currently doing to check out how good they are

ended up going to powerflow this morning and mark (the guy there) talked me into having a full custom catback fitted.

so i did, £300 later, sounds amazing, feels more throaty. love it,

ill try and figure out how to put vids up lol!
