Interior swap problem

My new 850 has half leather so I'm going to swap it to my old cars black full leather. Just been outside & swapped the seat base of the rear no problem, the backrest has 2 'side' cushions (1 each side) these are the cushions/panels that are fixed to the body somehow and remain in place when the back seats are folded down. I can't see how to release them so I can swap them over. Mr Haynes book says very unhelpfully....'remove the side cushions'.
Has anyone a clue as to how to get them out?

their held by 2 push-fit lugs, one just for locating at the base & the main one holding it in place about 3/4 up the back. Grab it from both sides near the top & give a quick sharp tug towards the front seats & should pull it out of the clip
