Yesterday morning my second turbo rebuild kit arrived from Taiwan (yay), so last night I decided to refurb it again.
Started at 7pm, got the turbo off, stripped it down, fittted the kit, put it back on the car, and was finished by 10pm (all but the oil return pipe, which I had to get a seal for)
3 hours to do the lot! (well, it was clean from the last time I did it, so no cleaning done) and that was including jacking and fillng it back up with water
Its a lot quieter than it was with the old kit on it, just a slight whirr from it, but I'm hoping that will die down as it wears in.
Ah crap, just noticed the title says 'trubo', any mods about can you change it please?
