Hi All.

My 1998 V70R needs a new MAF, no way am i paying £250 for a volvo / Bosch one, seen some very cheap ones on ebay, what part number should mine be? Are the ebay ones any good, anybody got any experiance with them.

This is the company i have seen:

Try and get a genuine Bosch one if possible! some sellers on e-bay sell them, or you can try Euro Car Parts or GSF.
THE PART NUMBER is on the MAF sensor, usually underneath, it has to be the same part no even though they all look similar on the volvos!

Thanks for the info, i ended up buying one of ebay, about £35 delivered, new. Had to save some cash as the car has cost me thousands this year. All fitted and working a treat, it might not last as long as a bosch but i can buy 5 of these for the price of 1!

Cheers

I've got one of those cheap ones off ebay, bought it ages ago when my car was playing up, it turned out to be the ECT sensor, so the MAF is waitin as a spare just in case.

be careful I had one of ebay, thought mine had died, 3weeks later engine light came on turned out to be the maf, put old one back on and works fine fault cleared. Dont think much to cheap parts, false economy.
