Clutch pedal....

All of a sudden my pedal has started squeeking and clicking when i use it, is this a sign its broken? or is it just a spring that needs replacing?

This morning it let out a clunk as i let it up aswell??

Nearly every vauxhall I have owned had a squeaky clutch and this was allegedly from the return spring, I am no mechanic but it does sound similar. I have nothing to compare a Volvo clutch pedal too though cos someone has stolen mine and replaced it with a bigger brake pedal :oS

Ha ha, i'll have a look - maybe i should have got an automatic too
