hi All

has a 98 t4 got a fuel return pipe and if not why as waste petrol must need to be returned to the tank and does the inlet go though the fpr first then into the rail

thanks a very confused mark

I'll have a look at the schematic later, but I believe:

* There is no fuel return (sorry, couldn't answer why!)
* The FPR is immediately before the fuel rail

on all cars I've worked on the fuel goes in the end of the rail and out of the regulatorback to the tank.on my t4 that's the opposite

Ooooh something outdated I can actually answer...

Drum roll...............

Nope S40 T4 98 has no fuel return line....I know this because it only came as standard I believe on the 2.0 NA engines.

As for the FPR, it is attached to the drivers side of the fuel rail and the feed goes directly to this, when fitting an adjustable FPR to T4's you can either....take the fuel lines from a 2.0NA or drill out the T4 line to open up the return pipe section that is there, then run a line to the pump yourself.
