Why oh why do my cruise controls never work??? Well, at least on theT5 and the R.
So this geezer thinks this is the solution - what do you think? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VOLVO-850-S70-C70-V70-CRUISE-CONTROL-REPAIR-KIT_W0QQitemZ220485217580QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Car sParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3355f16d2c&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

I'm sure I've got one of those tubey things in my parts bin, but not the first clue how to fit it in the miniscule time the seller specifies. Think it sits under the battery tray. Might be worth seeing if relay works though.

i had to replace the clutch switch (£30) on the S60 & its all working now, its almost never turned off lol

850's tho use a pneumatic valve on the clutch pedal (S60 is electric switch), & think they use the brake light switch for the brake pedal

Mine works too... Try checking the pedal switches first, because that's an easy job, secondly, have you checked the fuses???.

..ermm.. mine works as well.. have found the resume to be a tad sharp also - specially when you are leaving a roundabout back up to speed, have to make sure no-one is in front of me lol

..though my aircon doesn't want to work properly if that makes you feel better. lol
