Dump Valve Placement

I know, I know, this one again :doh:

I know most people put the DV in the Top Intercooler Hose but can it be put on this pipe instead ?.........

Ive seen one for sale with the outlet already welded onto it and was just wondering wether it would be worth it / any good ?

ideally the valve should be as close to the throttle body as possibly, the top pipe is before the intercooler so may possibly be to far from the inlet & it would be pre intercooler. If I was you I'd not go for it.

as said as close to the throttle body as possible is the norm, altho if the new pipe is going cheap enough it might be worth a try

Depending where you read test have been down with it close the throttle and further away and there was noticible difference

If i were you lee i wouldnt bother as it wants to be as close to the throttle body as possible
