Hello got a 1995 850 T5,Wondering if anyone can identify the small vacum hose next to passenger side headlight, attached to same clip as bonnet release cable, went for a run this morning and she didn,t seem to boost very well, got back home lifted bonnet and this hose had come free at joint, it was sucking air on idle and boost guage was slightly on white on idle, i have now cable tied this joint together, was wondering what hose is for, as i,m not convinced car is Boosting properly Fully), Thanks in advance.

Im pretty sure mine is routed round that way.

Seems to disappear under radiator and under inlet manifold not sure, so many pipes and hoses on these engines? if it was boost guage would this affect anything else?

its more likely to be going to either vac tree, or to one of the ports right at the beginning of the inlet manifold

Open vac can cause a missfire & poor boost.
