well me and the 850 r are not gelling quite as i hoped for so i may put it up for sale but whats it worth,
n reg 850 r auto estate
black half leather aclantra interior which dark wood trim
mot til 8/10
tax til end 1/10
157,000 miles ( brand new engine fitted @ 53,000 so this engine has only done 103,000 got a reciept for £2600 for the engine)
service history up to 135,000 then a few reciepts for oil changes etc, russell from rt mechanics owned this car for about 6 months and looked after it for the owner before this
cambelt done in 2006 ( only done 20,000 in this time)
rica ecu ( in the process of finding out which one)
bilsten shocks
brand new eibach springs
volvo strut brace
braided front brake hoses
refurbed alloys
body work is good, the drivers side doors have been resprayed at some point in the past but it don't look bad,
interiour is clean with proper volvo mats drivers seat is a little worn as to be expected with the mileage
all the electrics work
air con is cold but not icy
tyres have plenty of tread
being honest as i can it's not the best one in the world but it's far from being the worst, better way of desrcibing it is it a very fair example

That looks very tidy i like that? As for a price not a clue sorry but somebody on here will certainly be able to tell you. Good luck with the sale.

Very unusuall to see the dark wood on a red R, usually they have the beige/cream leather and the light wood. Prices are sadly at an all time low at the moment so it's not really a good time to be selling, however, I'd have thought you'd get £2.5 - £3k if you find the right buyer.

do you think i would get as much as that tc, i mean i know cars and condtions etc and i would say this is a fair example but far from the best, i would just want a fair quick selling price.

tho mines not a R its got the R goodies, no rust full service history, 105K, loads and t&t i paid 600 quid for it:D
thats a really nice motor, love the grill!

If you want a quick sale i would advertise it for £1900 with some good pictures as you have on here and a few of the interior and maybe under the bonnet.

yeah i never keep my cars longer than 10 months as a rule anyway (i just keep working my way through my must own cars list) this was one of them, im just not getting on with it as i hoped for, i only really got it because my dog is getting old and benifits from having a estate.

its auto mate it is a nice car, i always wanted one i suppose its just not what im used to.

mate ive come from a sierra cosworth and a fleet of old skool fords, i couldnt be further away from what im used to, but ive loved every second!!even the regular stops for fuel!:D

Steve, Have a look at auto-trader, glasses guide and then e-bay... Pitch ur selling price somewhere in the middle of them, i would have said that it would fetch £1500 approx, nice motor tho, wouldnt mind it myself if i had the cash! J

If Russ has owned that car, i think it would be worth every penny of £2500..
