Hey!

Just a quick question, I'm at sea at the moment and just got a message from my dad to say he "desperately needs a union for an oil cooler". Apparently it cant be got separately from the oil cooler itself.

Anyone help me out?

if its the same type as the t5 then it can be purchased seperatly from main dealers....at a cost of approx £5

when you say union...do you mean the sprung clip that holds the pipe to the cooler.

He said its not a clip, its a threaded piece where the oil passes through, about 40mm long,

hard to decipher what he means by txt :o

Oh and It's V70R so It should be the same as a T5 I think.

Does he mean the oil filter thread? Is it an automatic? Could it be the auto box oil cooler? Is this part on the radiator (or on the gearbox if its that cooler?)

Ok, Next txt message,

"screws into oil cooler, then pipe clips onto it, oil cooler on bottom of radiator"

If my internet connection onboard was a bit faster I could have a look for a drawing or something myself but its slower slow to load up pages with pictures!
