Hi, if anyone is contemplating carrying out a diy repair to the abs ecu (as we are) and don't have the correct socket for the job there is currently someone selling them on Ebay at a very reasonable £4.25 inc. p&p. Lets hope when our one arrives it is the correct tool for the job. Here is the link (I hope)

What? Just use a normal 4mm hex socket like I did, as they're not that tight.

gotta concur - 4mm hex did the job for me. Kicked myself, as I kept putting the job off cos I coudn't find the recommended torx socket for ages.

Still a good price though- it's one of those tools you only need to buy once...good find Mrsmastiffs!

The difficult bit is getting your hands in. Would suggest removing the air box to assist.

I have used 4 & 4.5mm sockets in the past. E5 torx is not entirely necessary. I have spare bolts if you mess one up.

Thanks, my hubby was wondering how best to get at it, especially the bottom 2 bolts.
