Ok, so I bet the lads who use the 'two bucket method' (matron) and the Maguires polishes etc will have a fit, but I washed my old workhorse on Sunday for the first time in four months and the roof was absolutely ingrained.

I used baby wipes on it after a thorough jet wash and it has brought all the old stains (mainly tree sap related) off with no scratches or marks. Good wash afterwards and some Autoglym polish.

Oh my what a lovely job.

I'll never buy a black car or get a job as a valeter...

I wash mine once a week and polish it every couple of weeks, still looking great.

In a perfect world (oh, ok one without kids or nagging wife) I'd wash my car weekly too. This Saturday I had to reglaze an upstairs window (thanks son) and then there's the usual plethora of DIY to try and put off as long as possible...
