Does anybody know what the main stealer will do when they service my 2.0 diesel s40 when it goes for it`s 3 year service?

Just wondering if I would be better buying the genuine parts and getting a local garage to do the service.......................

Cheers

Stevie

Steal your hard earned. If your independent is registered, which they no doubt will be then they can stamp your service book.

Your handbook should detail what is required. Don't forget the service involves a thorough visual inspection and report of many other elements. A specialist is your happy medium IMO.

As my car has the Ford engine in it,I phoned my local Ford dealer. £200,which is a hell of a lot cheaper than the Volvo dealer!!

Dont forget i can supply genuine volvo parts with quite large discounts. For example these service parts would have 30% off retail price at least. The only thing that has not been mentioned above is the cabin filter, which is to be changed on every service.

If you are interested, even just for an idea of prices, please send me a pm here or alternatively please email me at frfvolvoparts@gmail.com and please include your registration number to help me identify the correct parts for your car.

many thanks

Simon

I wish I had read your post earlier and I would have taken you up on that offer!

The girl at the Ford garage moved things about so I could get my car done on my day off so I don`t want to be a rotten sod and cancel it now.

I will store your number though for any other parts!!

Thanks again.
