just bought a V70 T5 today... the front tyres are due so i'm wondering if anyone has tried any other tyres other than the hard-ish standard pirellis which offer lower road noise and a softer ride ?

Also, anyone tried a move to 15" rims ?

You can't put 15s on a V70 - the 302mm disks and caliper races means the 16s you have (so called "perfo's") are the smallest rims you can fit, without changing the brakes. You can reduce the wall size of the tyre but you might lose on comfort.

Personally I would recommend either Vredestein Ultracs/Sportrac 2s or Kumhos (now OEM spec for TVR and Porkers)

If you have 16s on the car just go up a profile and put 55s on,
Will look a bit strange but what ever floats your boat,Or your V70 :haha:
