You may be able to adjust the shocks/dampers. Some need to be compressed and twisted to adjust, some just have a little nipple on top for adjusting.

yeh i'm certain the 854 kit is different to the 855 one, i've heard of people deliberately fitting the 854 as because they said it gives sportier handling. I assume the springs are designed to take the extra weight of the estate being fully loaded which you won't have on a 854

Smithness, I have a set of C70 springs and Koni yellows here, i want to put them on my V70R, so if you want to swap your rear springs for mine then would be work out well,

what condition are the springs in? as mine are like new with only 3k on them,

Gary.

The dampers will be the main component with hard ride... Koni Yellows are much harder than standard versions..

i got koni adjustables on mine,
i got them set on hard & i dont find them that harsh,
springs arnt koni but as stated, the shocks make it hard, not the springs..
