well as you may know i bought a 850r off ebay 2 weeks ago which had no mot or tax, it looked like this when i got it home,
http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq146/clair-louise/IMG_4446.jpg
well two weeks of owning the car i have,
refurbed the alloys in peugeot grafite grey
mot'd
taxed
t-cut twice to bring it back to red
taxed
serviced
changed the too low springs for eibachs
had fun driving it
i did'nt think this was to bad in two weeks as i work 63 hours a week, it now looks like this,
http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq146/clair-louise/IMG_5178.jpg
http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq146/clair-louise/IMG_5172-1.jpg
http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq146/clair-louise/IMG_5170.jpg

http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq146/clair-louise/IMG_5175.jpg
things left to do is,
302mm brakes
new double din stereo
change the k&n for a standard box
regas the air con
that would be the lot really, as the title says im happy now.

I saw this one on the Bay and it looked interesting - it looks great now. Need to get my wheels done - yours look so much nicer. Where and how much for your refurb? Thanks for comments about my grille. Will have a wide selection of these for all occasions! Have posted details on this elsewhere. These R's are a wonderful thing.

yep quite handy with a rattle can, came to about £60 all in, that included having the tyres taken off and on balanced etc.

Cracking job! Was looking at those grills but not struck now. Think I'll be taking mine off and painting it black or might just buy another standard grill to spray up instead (in case I make a balls up lol)

Thats a cracking job you've done there. Did you cut it by hand or use a DA polisher? It gleams like new - hope mine turns out as nicely!

Good job with the wheels too - I was quoted £60/wheel at a place in Leeds, but refused to pay that! Might consider giving them a go myself now... (anyone know if a 17in rim will fit in a dishwasher? :D )

Keep up the good work :)

i t-cut it buy hand im too tight to buy a polisher besides i need the exersize, lol, the wheels are easy to do but you are best to take the tyre completely off the rims, time is the only factor to a good job really.
