I tried to adjust the O/S light on my S40 today and it wouldn't adjust... Being an eternal fiddler, I stripped it off the car and split it to get to the inside of the light. The little black piece of plastic that connects the reflective inner to the adjustor screw is broken - is it possible to get just the piece of plastic? Seems a waste to have to get a whole new lamp assembly when all that is broken is a tiny piece of plastic!

Might be worth a ring round scrap yards, you maybe able to find a 40series that has had a frontend with smashed headlights..

Other than that since your a fiddler (in a good way) is it somehing that could be fabricated?
I did a 'Magyver' the other day by fixing my toaster with a paperclip a pair of pliers and a hammer...
