Driving along today thinking how nice it was to have some boost back, when the lambda light came on and the car lost boost, I assume going into limp mode.
I guess tomorrow will be spent checking for leaks, loose connections and bad earths.

Bugger!

being a 94 you should have the under bonnet diagnostics, see what it brings up

Right, reset the codes after getting

2-3-1 Long term fuel mixture too lean or rich in part load stage

Now, what in laymans terms does this mean, and where should I be looking?
Thanks

It means you have a induction air leak, either between the MAF and the Turbo or the inlet manifold and the PCV heater valve is most common....

You mention getting boost back..., where had it gone?....

Having reset the fault codes, the light has now been off for 7-80 miles. The yellow warning light coming on coinsided with restricted boost.
Seems all better again now, and might be outing the car anyway.
No hard decisions made, so I'll have a look at the pipes as mentioned.
Thanks

If the light comes back on when you are in slow traffic i would try a known good MAF...
The code you have offered is certainly air leak realted tho if the pipework is known to be sound a new maf is the first place i would look...
