Has anyone on here had khumo tyres on the back wheels on an 850 T5?
Are they any good?

I have em on the font and back and fo 55 quid a pop I can't grumble.the rears don't seem to wear much at all but they do seem to hold the back of the car in place. that said I don't take the car on the track so hvnt taken them to extremes

I have had a full set of K Ecsta Sports on for almost a 9 months and can't fault them at the price. (50% cheaper than the equivalent Pirelli's that used to be on the car)

205 55 R15 v - supplied and fitted for £201.00

Bargain!

Cheers

I had a set of Kumho Ecstas (on my BMW bag 'o sh*te) and they were very good indeed, quiet and good wear, balanced well and looked good.

Ditto the above, I had them on the front of my old S70, which was a bit rapid and they were fine.

i have them on my t5 and even had them on a 400hp Mustang at one point(although they were the top of the range jobs, good for the price). I still prefer the Falkens a tiny bit more expensive but wear slower and grip for longer. ran 452's on the fast stuff and 512 when not running quite so much power. I'll probably be shoeing the T5 in the 512's or maybe the 452's if i can afford them. http://www.falkentire.com/ for details. no i don't work for them but Tyres are the one area of the car i really don't believe in scrimping on its the only thing between the car and the road and keeping you on the black stuff!!

Good tyres, and excellent for producing plenty of smoke, if required! :)

Just drove my new 850R 270 miles back from Dover yesterday, and I have to say I'm impressed with the Khumo Ecsta Supers - very quiet and grippy enough in the dry. Can't comment on wet grip yet... and don't want to tempt the weather! :)

I'm certainly surprised by them on my limited experience so far.

Oh the khumo's are available in coloured rubber too. Mainly for drifting for extra cudous in having coloured smoke as you destroy ££££'s, last time i heard us$2000 per tyre, of fresh rubber but are NOT road legal but look UBER cool when in smoking form!! I think marrangoni are set to make a road legal version of theirs
