Has anyone attempted or had done a refurb of a full electric leather drivers seat in an S70? Mine is starting to get a bit tired.
Thanks.

There was a thread somewhere on one of the american forums that showed you how to remove and replace the seat covers...

I had my leather redone, and my steering wheel also - they arent electric though, but wouldnt have thought that would make a difference?

That was about 2 years ago, the drivers seat was in a bad way - now 2 years on, the seat is showing signs of cracking again, so its not a permanent thing in my opinion, but saying that the other seats are fine and so is steering wheel, it must just be my fidgeting ass.

Price wise, it depends on how much your getting done - i got quoted 200 quid for my drivers seat, and 100 for my passenger as it was nowhere near as bad. The steering wheel was about 50 and he did armrest for nowt.

I had my drivers seat covers replaced last year. Mine are the leather and Alcantara as fitted to the "R". The seat is basically a seat base cover, and a seat back cover. Plus I had the headrest cover replaced too.

All using genuine Volvo products and not a degree of difference in shading between new and (then) 10 years old. Only difference was less creasing in the new covers.

Probably cost around £900 for the covers, but I didn't pay for it so not bothered.
