wheel bearing change

started to do the other wheel bearing on my car, already done the OS one a while back
however stupid me, i started using the hub puller before releasing the wishbone bolt
only got about 3 -4 mm done before realising this
question is will this cause the gearbox any damage or is there enough play in them to account for this :(

well got it all done in the end, no signs of damage and running very smooth
one of the E14 bolts rounded on me so i had to break out the angle grinder :mischievo

Should be fine mate. Tolerance built into everything on these and you would know by now. Did one on my last 850 and although it wasn't difficult,I'd prefer to avoid doing it again!
