So i did 2 laps today on the ring:B_steerin the car around the track. All went very well. 2 people i know from the dutch forums were there also and both of them coached me 1 lap. For an inexperienced ring driver like myself it really is a blessing to have them sitting on the passenger seat.

And they both gave compliments about the handling of the car :) Seems like the rear axle of an awd is a lot better than the fwd ones:)

Hi Guys,
was there the week before the F1 race had the misses with me going around so had a few slow times.
I paid to go in a Ferrari 430 but only had an 11 mins in that as the pads had just been changed.
Did the BMW taxi in 8 1/2 mins but the fastest on the day was 7 1/2 so i believe.
Planning to go back Bank holiday weekend or October first Sunday.

So i went to the ring last monday, to drive 3 laps which i had left on my ringcard. I'd met with a friend at the ring :) he is the same guy that coached me the last time.

The weather was not good, the whole track was really wet. But my plan was to take it slowly around the track and focus more on driving clean lines and trying to remember brake points, turning points etc etc. Well, i had to because of the weather and while driving to the ring, my ABS and tracs lights started to burn :mad:

I did 3 laps in total without ABS on the ring and it was good fun. Max speed that i saw on the speedo was about 120km/h so not really fast, but an excellent speed to learn the track. Also because there isn't much traffic, you can really focus on the lines.
