LSD Gearbox

Am I right thinking its only the M59 box that came with an LSD?
If so what were these fitted to, 850rs?
Anyone know where I might be able to buy one?

yes it is the M59, it was fitted to the 850R You'll need the special driveshafts that come with it. TBH its not exactly very good, you'd be better off with a Quaife in a M56H

Nads in West Bromwich may have one. They also come in the V70r fwd classic shape.

If thats the case i'll do similar to you, ST gearbox but get an LSD for it.

its only a viscous coupling in the driveshaft so not very effective

the Crocus box is a good buy at the minute i picked mine up for £50, i'm going to put a Quaife in mine before i get it fitted

it should fit to all of them mate, the M56H (normal T-5) & the M59 (850R) can be swopped between cars so this will as well

being the F*rd version it does need the cable selector on top of the gearbox swopping to the Volvo unit, this unbolts as a complete unit. A special rear gearbox mount needs fabricating & you need to use an S60R clutch
