As you can see, the engine sizes aswell as bhp steadily increases from car to car, if the T5 engine ever went bang (touch the genuine volvo wooden dash lol) then i would do an ala spesh and go for the 2.5, i think that would be my limit for normal day to day cars, as for weekend cars then id have to break the rule and have a TVR with Rovers finest 5 litre V8s :D

2003 Renault Clio 1.4 Dynamique - Brilliant, nippy & economical. But I loved the Volvo's quality, power and sturdyness, so I bought a....

1995 Volvo 850 T5 Auto estate - Loved this car, but after a year I fancied a change, so I bought a.....

2003 Volvo S60 D5 SE! - Superb.

I'm not sure what I want next. The "grand plan" is for an S60R, but if I can combine the D5 engine with the AWD system as they offer it in mainland Europe, I'd be very, very tempted.

Nearly, couldn't justify geting a full roll cage so kept the seats. I spent far two much money on one of the astra's that I had. Wish I spent it on a T5 instead, I'm sure the grins on my face would have been much bigger!!
