If I remember correctly......(doubtfull), you turn the ignition on and off three times, on the third time the alarm LED will start flashing, press the button on the fob and the doors should lock. Turn off the ignition......

I think.....

i think its five times tc and you have to press the first fob within 5 or ten seconds and then press the other fob withing 10 seconds after the first one

I'm in the same predicament (don't have a manual) my batteries need changing in my fob - so you put new batteries in then unlock the car with the key - get in and shut the door, ignition on and off five times (without starting it) press big button, then small button?
Then what? Press big button again to unlock?
Don't want to be sat in my car with the alarm going off etc..
Thanks.

As above buddy. You programme the system using the main lock/unlock button only......but only changing the fob batteries shouldn't req this anyway. HTH.

i think as long as the fob isnt with out batterys for a period of time it will work as normal and not need reprograming

Dont forget boys, the fob indicated in the OP comes with 2 different frequencys..What this means is that either you will need to ask your dealer to check both frequency fobs, or if buying from ebay ensure you have either the fob number or reciever number to make sure you get the right fob..

I did mine by: sitting in the car, all doors closed and unlocked, turning key on and off about 5 times, ( the LED on dash will start to flash) press the unlock/lock button onthe remote and hold it till the LED stays on,
take key out. then test by pressing lock.
and doors should lock,
remember the car can only have up to 5 remotes programmed at any one time,
to re-set this I think its a main dealer jobby

Well, went to Halfrauds as I couldn't find any 1220 batteries anywhere else. Put them in and hey presto - it worked.

Sounds daft but tesco is the best place for those batteries lol
