need a manual gearbox for 850 t5 96 model the one in my car is is m56h box i can got get m56l wots the difference can u help? lol

the M56L has got a lower 1st & 2nd gear ratio, think it makes about 4mph difference

no worries mate, as you can see from the excel sheet Volvo also used 2 different final drive ratios. All the book says is the lower final drive came with the NA engine, but it doesn't say to which gearbox it was fitted so i calculated it at the lowest possible with the M56L which is why there is a 7mph difference

from what i've found their 295mm, which sounds about right because i remember laughing that they were bigger than the fronts when i had the original 280mm's on.

i'd try German, Swedish, French for a price. Very good service & just kept piling the discount on

i think you'll find the 302's are the larger discs for the front, & personally i wouldn't touch drilled & grooved. I've had them before & they just cracked around the holes

the calipers are the same, its the actual mounting bracket that spaces them out for the 302 conversion, i paid £50 for mine from Salvo
