Need some mechanical knowledge

Posted a thread on here earlier looking for a cheap Volvo. Found this one on ebay

Wondering if any of you would know whats up and if it'd be worth bidding on?

Sounds like a air leak or the idle controll valve need replacing, it could also be the maf

the maf is the air flow meter and if the price stays low enough yeah buy it but remember if it wont run you either need a trailer or a tow

Well I'm in NI so wouldn't be planning on tow or trailering but if it was something like maf then I'd fix it on the spot anddrive home.

It could be one of them things you take a different maff with you and it turns out to be something else untill looking at the car and trying different thing you cannot be sure what it is
