So my car has done 57k Had it's 60k service at 45k at volvo. I have checked the spark plugs and yes they look about 12k old. The thing is at low revs the car seems a little jerky, ie not smooth through 1000rpm to 3000rpm. I have had the car about a month now and have changed oil, air filter and have use V power for the past 1500 miles. Any ideas what the problem could be? Dirty throttle body?
If so where is it, because I can't see it anywhere. How would I clean it?

Well it's had it's 60k service at volvo at 45k, so I'm hoping the fuel filter would have been changed. Spark plugs look ok and do say volvo on them.

Volvo almost invariably neglect to change the fuel filters even when it's on the service checklist.

Add the pollen filter to that list of neglect too. Not that it will affect your issue of course...

Yes! Changed the filter today (£20, wow thats expensive :jaw: ) The old filter looked old and had a date stamped on it 03/02/03

So you were right Volvo didn't change it!

Mine had made it to 140k - apparently black gunk came out when they removed it! :-0
