Wrapping my downpipe/exhaust.....

.....with graphite impregnated heat wrap. Is it really worth the bother? Whats the benefits of wrapping the downpipe with the stuff? Will it really make any difference?

It helps a little with engine bay temps, keeping them down. Also keeping the heat inside the exhaust/downpipe it should help with getting the gases out quicker.
