TBH its worth what ever you were willing to pay in this climate

Its quite hard to say as the prices on T5's seem to fluctuate on a weekly basis but somewhere between 800 and 1200 would be about right IMO

£1,150

I think I got a good deal due to the history and condition.

Had her on the rollers today and she gave out 264bhp so must have been re-mapped at some stage.

I'm in a tricky position here.....like Mrsmopp I have 2 large dogs, a 10yr old German Shepherd and a 18 month old Bullmastiff. I used to have a Passat 20v before my T5 and thought my dogs would be ok on the back seat of my T5 with a blanket over it.....they are not! Trouble is I have really taken to my T5so def' want another, only this time I will get an estate!

Is it a trick of the light or does the inside edge of your fns tyre want a good coat of looking at?

The estate is perfect for large dogs, plenty of space!!

Nice little bonus finding out its mapped too!

That is indeed a very nice example mate. I wouldn't place too much importance on monetary value as it is in the eye of the beholder. Mine is in a similar condition at 122k and fsh,re-mapped etc and I have the original bill of sale at £28000. Typed my reg into one of these "Cash for your car" sites for an experiment and they valued it at £210.

it just goes to show...

I'm never buying a new car again... past 4 cars I have had have been 1-2 years old.

My V50 T5 R-Design has everything on it... the Salesman said the car was just under £30K brand new with all the extras ontop.

I paid £16K a year and a bit later! With on 20K miles on the clock...

Just goes to show how much they depreicate.

I would say about 1k depending....

I had a goldish coloured T5 saloon last year which I picked up in very tidy condition with FSH & 75k miles for just shy of £1200......... I then had a moment of insanity and decided I needed a more economical car and I sold it for the same price............. I still regret that, as although I picked up a nice C70 for similar money, I preferred the 850 to drive and it was more practical day to day.

Yours is a nice colour as well.

Let me know if your selling in the future lol

She's a real beauty mate and in that red I think its stunning. Yu definately were not done on price. I think you paid what would be expected, what people don't realise is wheyou take the preformance, reliability, comfort etc these cars re absolute bargains. As for the car buyin people, I have a 99 sriprimera in mint codition and they offered me 150 so I'd be thinking not.
