puffs of smoke

[850 t5 vs 600cc]

I was reading some where that you can check if the breather is blocked by taking your dip stick out a little while the car is running, If there is a little smoke then the breather is blocked. Is this right and where is the breather its on about. I'm lost.

It all lives behind the inlet manifold buddy. Once that's out of the way it takes no time at all and allows you to replace that little b*****d vac elbow that always leaks!!
