how not to let ya brakes wear away!!!!

i changed the caliper on the rear of the t5 today after i noticed a grinding noise when i came back and this is the result in the brake pads

i ran an awful grinding & juddering on my old Jeep when it came to a halt, had a look & there was no pad (or backing plate) in there it was the actual caliper rubbing the disc & stopping it lol

Beilive it or not but we get loads of cars in with pads exactly the same as those :(

For what seems a small amount of money say under £20 they have the most necessary part of the car like that. its not good :mad111:
