1999 SE one in silver, manual transmission just got on Monday.

In the dealers getting the usual sorted one it, slight oil leak (oil return pipe on turbo) needs the cambelt doing, MOT getting done which it will fail on as the rear brakes are utterly worn down to the metal, needs some new centre caps on the wheels and that should be about it.

Will give her a good clean and polish then get some pics up when thats all done!

Thanks!

Mopp you are very right, its not a bad drive at all and they go surprisingly well, have not driven one for years and had forgot what they are like!

Well it failed its MOT today on front and rear brakes (discs & pads), track rod end and a few bulbs so they are all getting done early next week along with a service and cambelt then be ready for the road!

Well got her back on the road with an MOT!

Brakes are excellent now both front and rears have been replaced, stops better than any of the other cars that drive regularly.

Gave her a quick clean last night and was going to do it properly today but then it started chucking it down with rain and that was the end of that idea. Once done and polished properly will get some pics up for all to see.

Getting her booked in next month to get the cambelt and full service done aswell then hopefully she will put in some good miles, surprising how many people the car shocks by how quick it is, everyone expects it to be slow from the look of it!

Surprisingly sprightly really for a little engine. Dont you think the handling soooooooooo much better than the T5?

Pictures already!!!!

Yeah they are much better at handling obviously due to the lack of weight in the car overall, however that has one downside in the torque steer they have which is actually worrying!

Will get some pics up when cleaned, however cant do that till its stopped raining and unfortunately refuse to drag the Monaro out in the rain so can put it in the garage to clean!
