hi everyone, just want a little advice, got a 850 t5 estate, car never overheats or looses water, but the temp gauge is always just a little over halfway, the van does kick in when meant to, is this normal or am i being to paranoid, thanks

Mine sits very slightly... like 1-2mm over the half way.... or maybe its my eyes.
Was going to flush coolant, new thermostat, new tank and temp sender anyway soon

should sit just a smidge over 1/2 way.
The one I had from new did this and so does the one I have now so I guess thats just the way it is.

When I replaced mine I was offered 88 or 92 degree thermos. Fitted the 92 so theoretically if you fit the 88,temp guage will sit slightly lower. Sounds fine as it is though........
