I know its a question probably answered on another thread (but I can't find it) I have a 1998 2.5T 20v. Will 17" Titans stud holes align and what is the max profile I can go to without incurring any fouling issue's.

Titans should fit fine, the stud patterns the same as the earlier cars, fraid I can't help on the tyre size, although mine is running 225/40/17's on the back.

215/45 is a good size. I had these on my Titans in PZeros. Gave a good ride and handling. Minor scrubbage on the front on very full lock... simple answer... don't use full lock. Or, change the steering stops on the lower wishbones - i think the C70 had different ones on that would work.

I also had 225/45 but only on the rear. These fitted the rims... just! and ran o.k except slight rubbing on the inside (inner most) of the arches but only mainly when cornering hard.

I've now got a set of 7.5" comets (c70 ones) running 235/40 on the rear and 225/45 on the front. Rears seem fine (Dunlop sp sport) but the front scrub like mad on full lock! mainly though due to the strange shape of the tyre, they are cheap ones and very wide for a 225.

Hope the above helps :)
