abs/tracs system help required

Abs & tracs light coming up intermittently took the car, an S70t5 to the main stealer for diagnostic check and it came up as a ABS 314 error - Right rear wheel sensor signal fault in circuit. Then speaking to the garage foreman he told me that more often when they change the rear sensors as a result of this error code it does not cure the problem, changing the ABS module being the next move which then does!

Anyone had this problem or can offer any advice please - Thankyou

Usually if it is only 1 wheel then the ABS Module is not yet at fault. Replace the sensor - they are not usually expensive.

Thanks for that Dave, looking at the diagram I thought you had to replace both sensors as they appear to be wired together on the rear ones, the main stealer quoted me £97+vat. What's the job like replacing them?

I am not sure as I have not replaced the rears. I have only ever replaced 1 of the front sensors which was not too difficult.
