850 t5 vs 600cc

Hi,
I fitted a boost gauge and a controller on Wednesday and tuned it on Thursday. I was running 1 bar so i went for a drive, checked the forum for safe pressure and i have now turned it down to .9 bar and now the car idles at 1200 revs and i can't work out why.
