Has anyone an idea as to where the crank sensor is? Mr Haynes manual gives no reference to it. Thanks!

Hi

I believe its tucked down under the distributor , just up from gerabox .... from memory ? Fairly ackward to get at I think ..... Removing the airbox makes it easier but its not neccessary ?

its on the other cam to the dizzy, same side but further back between the engine stabilizer bar (should be held on with 3 torque screws)

Hiya,

it is bolted pointing into the top of the gearbox bell housing with a single black torx bolt. The housing it's in is ally, bolted and dowelled to the side of the block with 2 hex nuts.

It's under the black engine support bracket, between the dizzy cap and cam sensor which are at the top of the engine.
