changing the turbo on a s40

just wanted to know if anyone could tell me if the turbo from the s60R will fit straight on to my s40 t5 and if any other mods are needed to deal with the extra power

Hi,

No, the S60R turbo will not fit straight onto your S40 T5. If it's upto 330 bhp you are after (the limit of the std. S60R turbo) the the easiest and cheapest route would be a hybrid on your existing turbo with a remap to suit.

ok, thanks very much do you know which company would be best for this i have looked at pumabuild who dealt with my friends focus st but they speacilize in fords only iam not aware how much of the t5 engine ford have changed in there st but they lost 5bhp so they must have changed something so i dont really want to go there i have had a brief look at rica who can upgrade to 250bhp for around £600
but iam new to this and appreciate your help thanks a lot
