Whats wrong?

My 850t5 is misbehaving
It runs ok for a week or so then it stararts but won"t tick over and cuts out.
If I disconnect the MAF sensor start the engine it ticks over ok I switch it off
reconnect the MAFsensor and it runs ok again for another week or so.
Any ideas as to why this is happening would be much appreciated cos its driving me nuts!!!

Check the codes, that'll give you a good idea of whats wrong, you can also check the vac lines to make sure you have no leaks.

is it auto manual it could be the idle controll valve and a few other things but best to get the codes read

Hoping to get codes read at Bridgend Volvo Services this week.
Last week the scanner was being repaired.
Jason at B.V.S who sold the t5 to me seems to think that the oxygen sensor is coked up??

it does'nt have the diagnostics gizmo under the bonnet behind the drivers headlight by the washer bottle filler cap?

both my cars are 95 ones early with diagnostics gizmo under bonnet the late 95 does'nt?? thanks volvo
