Maybe its one of the really rare versions that were only made in silver with 15" alloys, raised suspension and the NA 2 litre engine (probably from the BTCC cars!) :(

Similar thing happened in VT the other day when I popped my head round the door. Siiting in the bay was this nice looking Saffron Met. C70. Bloke who bought it (when booking it in) told Hamish it was a 2.5 LPT. Oddest thing happened on the way to the garage - the engine shrank to 2.4 and the turbo entirely vanished! Still nice car. But what gets me is how people can be thiis dim. I mean - did he not noticed the distinct lack of lag - due to the distinct lack of turbo??
