You've done very well......couple of small points. You're coolant is low!! Do you know why the sealing bracket has been removed from the ecu housing? Not criticising,it's a beauty and you knocked it off with the reg no.

Very nice car!
The Civic is nice too!
If you want to catch a track/performance oriented crew with it's sale, go to www.bigpower.co.uk . It's a site dedicated to performance driving in the appropriate place, and caters for everything from drift cars to Time Attack cars. They've even got some 850 owners amongst there numbers! (If you can't advertise it for sale there, tell me and I'll add a link there on your behalf)

thankyou for all your replies! and advise!

to the question on missing parts etc, i have no idea. im new to the whole volvo 850 thing. the car is off the road until june time, and before i bring it out continuously, it will go into a volvo specialist before hand. yes i thought the reg was abit special! :D

there are a couple of little problems, such as abs light is on, but i have a spare abs unit in the boot, (im taking it the traction control does not work with out abs?) steering right feels easier than steering left? other than them bits, she drives like a dream, with no other faults!

rob s: as your local-ish to me (im around hornchurch essex) where do you take your t5 for repairs etc etc. thankyou for your offer for the for-sale thread mate. il let you know!

Johnny5: well you almost got it tbh, my friends comp would start up, and when i got on ebay to bid i only had one minute. cutting it fine!

but thankyou all :D

@Dapc,
I've just serviced myself (really easy), but I can recommend a professional garage about 25 minutes from you if you want. PM if you want details, the owners a good friend and is motorsport mad, so loves a turbo. (Added bonus of a rolling road down the same turning!)

now dont hang me up and donate my limbs to animal testing but i am fairly sure this model doesnt have a seal on the ecu box it might be an age thing but of that i am not sure

All 850's have the bracket over the box to stop the lid poping of and damp/water getting in to damage the ecu

Are we talking about the metal strap that holds the top on the ecu cover ?

If yours hasnt got it then maybe someone has been messing underneath :D

Mine did nt have one, and mines hardly been with the Stig during it's time.
There were just two clips , one either side.
The lid sealed with the lower half, and there were no gaps or spaces where I could see anything missing.
Maybe it is missing something, maybe its not on mine.
I'll post a pic up tomorrow if it helps.
