Off the scale all the time the foots on the floor :B_thumb:

When i got the 304 done Hamish adjusted the actuator for me, only about 3 or 4 turns.

The amount you quote sounds excessive unless its been messed about with :(

Think there about £150 + vat RRP. RT can get hold of them for you aswell.

20 turns on the actuator?

http://au.geocities.com/ozbrick850/engine-wastegate-adjustment.html

Please read this, increasing the turns on the actuator will not increase boost per say...

It will, however build boost faster... ie in your case giving the "leak" less time to vent the boost... but once the turbo has spun its nads off and the BCS/MBC has seen "stock boost" it try and maintain it, thus flow reduces and then the air can escape quicker.

my car boosts to the end of the white untill 5k rpm, then drops to about 2 thirds up to the redline. i thought this was normal for a 15g, and hence the apeal of a 19t?

as for your mbc, mines a bleeder and im getting a bar with just 3/4 of a turn. i would say look into leaks rather than the actuator.
