Standard T5's

Starting to regret powering up my T5,are there any factory standard ones left?

Seems I'm depleting the originality of the car. Couldn't be happier with the results,feel as though I'm betraying the brand perhaps. When I bought it,it was factory standard with FSH and was a gem. Wouldn't change it back though,it's too much fun.....

Er......Soooooo what's the problem?,lol. If you happy with it then don't worry about it, if you ever want to put it back to stock all you have to do is swap the ecu out, I'm sure you'll have no shortage of volunteers.

I very much doubt that Volvo would be worried if you had or hadn't chipped your car as they are probably more interested in their future than they are their past ;)

In any case it's your car do with it as you wish and if that means a remap so be it, rather a T5 thats been appreciated than scrapped ;)

Mines 100% standard, apart from a V70 tailpipe, only changed it cos the rectangle one rotted away! ;)
Bit of a "street sleeper" dont think people remember just how well these motors go even in standard tune!

Has you c70 got a throttle cable or a etm also what colour is the badge on your grille

Throttle cable or not - makes no difference in my experience.

Just make sure its a twin piston jobbie.

Mines 99% standard, just an airfilter. If i could i would spend a grand on it getting the brakes upgraded, better suspension and ecu played with but i would keep the outside the standard, the sleeper way.
At the end of the day you change your car for what you want it to be not what the next owner may or may not want it to be.

I took the map off my car yesterday due to a couple of problems and it seems soooo slow! Once you've modded, there's no going back!

Unanimous then.....suppose when you think about it,what else can you get that's so entertaining for that kind of money? Mine is 13 years old,runs like a Swiss watch,everything works,frighteningly fast and not a sign of rust anywhere. Even if I did have the money,Gordon wouldn't be crushing this one!

Speaking of numbers, there was a thread on not long ago with numbers of volvos left. But I can't find it anywhere. Anybody know what happened to it?
