Ok i have changed my slightly old 15g on the old 855 to a 16g from a S70 as had started to blow a little smoke and become slower than normal.

With the battery disconnected for about a month and the turbo installed it still feels a slow. So i have checked the boost pressure which is only showing max 5 psi on WOT.

I think it might be the solenoid valve attached to the airbox?

I left the actuator set to as it came off the s70 which i removed myself.

Any ideas??

controversal idea and you must be VERY careful, I have done this a number of times on various cars as easily proves turbo health....

if you remove the pipe from the BCS to the actuator this effectively removes the "cars" ability to control boost, then take it for a gentle drive and you will be able to establish if the turbo is making and holding boost showing up turbine and wastegate issues.

as I said, be very careful, use small throttle inputs only as the potential for distaster if you're heavy footed is high.
