hi as the title says need replacement rear shocks (just rears for the mo) think i'm gonna need something soon they've done 170.000 odd rubber shrouds looking very sad, dont really want to spend stupid money for a set thats likely worth half the value of the car. so good 2nd hand nivomats? is there something resembling a near sensible replacement? europarts list bilsteins but the dont fit instead of nivos it seems? do i just need some sort of fitting kit or something? any help very much appreciated. thanks gareth

You will need different top mounts and different springs if you change from nivos to normal shocks. I;ve a set of normal springs off my old 850, standard lowered springs from a saloon. Could probably find you some top mounts too, failing that i'm sure there are plenty being broken with them within the forum.

See if i wanted to convert from nivomats to FSD's do i just need to buy new springs and mounts?? is it the case that the scantech rear mounts are rubbish like the fronts??
